Care guide

Handmade textiles last for years when they're looked after gently. A few notes for your Nishyan piece:

• Hand wash cold, or dry clean for silk and wool pieces.
• Avoid wringing — press out water gently and lay flat to dry, away from direct sun.
• Iron on a low setting, on the reverse side, if needed.
• Store folded rather than hung, to keep the shape.
• Keep block-printed and hand-dyed pieces away from perfume and deodorant, which can affect the colour.

Every piece is a little different — small variations in weave, print or dye are part of being handmade, not a flaw.
